I have made it a bit further. I can bring up the ZENDTO page and add / list users. I checked the zendto MySQL database and found the users in the user table as they should be.</div><div><br></div><div>However, even though Zendto accepts my login credentials and the sendto log verifies I logged in, Zendto acts as if no one is logged in whenever I try to drop off a file, or try to perform an admin function. For example, I set one of the users I created as an admin in preferences.php, and when I logged in to sendto, I see the additional options normal for an admin user. However, if I click on one of those buttons, I get an error that tells me "Access denied. This is available to administrators only" When I click on the home button, I'm no longer logged in at all. Check that /var/zendto is owned by the www-data account and is owner
and group writeable and there should be a zendto.log and
zendto.sqlite files in there.<br>

You can get rid of the undefined index notices by adding
"& ~E_NOTICE" to the setting for error_reporting in
/etc/php5/cli/php.ini.<br>

Try to load the home page of the web site before you try
creating users. And you do then of course need to be root to
create users (but do the home page first, as that should
trigger the creation of the database with the right
ownership and permissions).<br>

I assume you're using SQLite3 as the database type.<br>
