    I probably do now have the time to include this if you can send it
    to me.<br>
    It will obviously need to be controllable, as it's not a feature we
    could use (45,000 users in our AD), but small sites might appreciate
    it.<br>

    I would probably write my own code for producing the list of
    potential recipients, probably in Perl (that's what I find the
    easiest), rather than rely on a JVM, but your code for that would
    still be useful as you no doubt have sorted out a lot of design
    issues from which I could benefit.<br>

    So please do send us all the code again, and I will endeavour to add
    the feature so sites can use it if they want to.<br>

    P.S. Anything to do with pre-authentication, I still don't see how
    to do, let alone implementing an API to do all sorts of clever

              too many users. Nevertheless, we actually developed the
              following capability
              and use it in production. We have a crontab script that
              pulls all email
              addresses from our Active Directory and loads them into
              mysql database (separate
              table). Than &#8220;internal&#8221; users can lookup using address
              book, which in fact made
              in java. Please let me know if you guys are interested and
              I will share it
