<p class="MsoNormal">I’m holding the usual information session in 100/4011 at 14:00 on Wednesday 20th October (next Wednesday). As in previous years,
<b><u>please can I encourage you to come along to this</u></b>, and be prepared to ask questions that potential applicants might have? You’ll notice that I’m also hoping to live stream it – but I think any scholars will need to be there in-person for it to
be effective! I appreciate that you might have lecture clashes, unfortunately it’s not possible to find a time that works for every year/student.<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><o:p> </o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">Finally – please spread the word amongst your colleagues using any route possible (e.g. WhatsApp/Facebook/Discord groups that you might have within your year group etc). Students 1) in their penultimate year, or 2) looking to do a year-long
industrial placement, tend to be the most sought-after and hence have the best success rates. But I’d still encourage all students to apply if they meet the eligibility requirements (primarily UK students with a 60% average in their previous year – or AAA
if in Year 1).<o:p></o:p></p>
