[Ukesf-scholars] Outreach Opportunities

Hi Reena,

I'm desperate for some outreach - due to COVID organizing an event with my old college fell through and is likely to fall through again.

I'd be really interested in helping in either or both of the above.

I am in touch with Nick Everett, head of Physics (inc. electronics) at Queen Mary's College, and Marcus Rutland, also from QMC who is organizing events for students this year. We were planning at some point to just have a chat about studying electronics and UKESF, but if the time frames allow I'd love to have this as a fun, interesting focus.

Please let me know the details as soon as possible and I can personally set something up with QMC.

Hi All,

Hope all is well.

There are two outreach opportunities that are coming up and I would love to get your input/help on them.



  1.  The first one is an in person event on campus on the 28th September (09:30-12pm). Its aimed at A-level students. We need students to help out with a practical session (electronics or computing depending on expertise of helpers).
  2.  Second one is to help with publicising / organising the competition attached.



You will be mentored and supported throughout this process.
