[Ukesf-scholars] FW: UKESF Scholarships: Preparing for an Interview

Dear UKESF Scholars,
As previously mentioned, Jon Older from ITDev is going to be giving a session on 'preparing for an interview' next week. I have just invited this year's applicants to come along (see email below).
If you're available to attend, I'm sure that Jon would appreciate any input that you can provide around your experience. If you do attend, I suggest you introduce yourself to him at the start, so that he knows your there as a scholarship holder (i.e. a successful interviewee) rather than an applicant.

I was pleased to hear that you applied to the UKESF's scholarship scheme this year.

In the last couple of years, the success rate of ECS from applications to interviews has not been quite as good as some other institutions. Therefore, this year, we're putting on some additional support and training for applicants on interview technique.

This will take place at 18:00 on Thursday 14th November, in the Mountbatten Seminar Room (53/4025). I hope to see you there.

Please note, I don't receive any information from the UKESF other than the fact that 'you applied' - hence I don't know whether or not you have yet already received (or are still to receive) any interview offers.
