[Ukesf-scholars] Your UKESF Interview

Dear Scholars,

We're arranging for Jon Older from (a Director at ITDev) to come in and give a talk to this year's UKESF applicants about interviews and interview technique. He's asked for feedback from students who have been through the process before, on things like:


  *   Were there questions they struggled to answer
  *   Were there questions they weren't expecting
  *   Was it 1-2-1 interviews or a panel
  *   Was it all technical or a mix with soft skills ...
  *   Did they get/request interview feedback
  *   Were they fully informed by the company on what to expect

Can you let me know any responses that you have to any of these? Relevant to both the unsuccessful and successful ones - i.e. where you had an interview but didn't get an offer from that company, why do you think that might have been!
