EPSRC</a> Centre for Doctoral Training in <a href="http://ngcm.soton.ac.uk/">Next Generation Computational Modelling</a> (Registration will open shortly - details will be available on the website).<br>

The Summer Academy will run from Monday 1st to Friday 5th of July at the University of Southampton (<a href="http://ngcm.soton.ac.uk/summer-academy/faq.html#where-is-the-boldrewood-campus">Boldrewood Campus</a>).<br>
<br>
The NGCM Summer Academy is a one-week event bringing together PhD students from across the UK who work on computer simulation of science and engineering problems, and want to extend their training through the workshops available at the Summer Academy. The training
is delivered by world-leading experts and key developers of the relevant software tools, and includes

- 1.5 day course on <a href="http://ngcm.soton.ac.uk/summer-academy/vtkmayavi.html">
VTK Mayavi</a><br>
- 1.5 day course on <a href="http://ngcm.soton.ac.uk/summer-academy/optimisation.html">
Optimisation</a><br>
- 2 day course on <a href="http://ngcm.soton.ac.uk/summer-academy/ml.html">Machine Learning</a>
<br>
- 1 day course on <a href="http://ngcm.soton.ac.uk/summer-academy/nvidia.html">CUDA GPU programming</a><br>
<br>
Note that the VTK/Mayavi and Optimisation workshops will be running in parallel. Prerequisites vary from course to course, but generally include at least some programming experience. For more information please see our
