The Alan Turing Institute is seeking 2 individuals to join us as Research Associate - AI methods in Mammography Intelligent Assessment on either an employment basis or secondment. We are also happy to consider applications on a 0.5 FTE (18 hours) basis if they need more flexibility. The role holder(s) will have the opportunity to undertake frontier research and produce publications in the novel design of evaluation studies for AI models in real-world health systems. The role will develop novel methodologies and studies to assess the safety and efficacy of Mammography Intelligent Assessment (Mia) as well as be part of the frontier research involving NHS, Alan Turing Institute, NICE, PHE, AAC and NHS X teams.

This is an exciting opportunity to join the UK's national institute for data science and artificial intelligence. They welcome applicants who have a PhD (or equivalent experience and/or qualifications) in a relevant area such as Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or related discipline.
