[Turing-Southampton] Early Career Researcher Training - "Engaging with Industry" | 27-28 February 2020

Dear All,

We are running an all-expenses paid residential training course at Chilworth Manor on the 27th and 28th Feb for Early Career Researchers - closing date to apply 8th February.

The training will be looking at engaging with industry (tips to make it a successful experience and ideas on how to start the conversations).

As part of the training we will have an Industry Panel providing advice and input on what they value and look for when seeking to engage with researchers . We will also have an industry networking event with companies who actively collaborate and recruit skills and expertise that ECRs bring to the table. Currently confirmed to attend will be the UK Space Agency, Fibrecore, Symetrica, Vivo Mas, TTN , Maths Shop, Deloitte.

Numbers are limited as this is residential training. We are also aiming to have a multi-disciplinary cross-faculty ECR audience/sign up for the training.
