The Alan Turing Institute has partnered with the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation to join an already vibrant community of NGOs, charities, private sector providers, universities and think tanks to address global identity challenges in the digital age. We invite researchers (Turing Fellows, Turing Research Fellows, Doctoral Student Supervisors and others) and other academics from our partner universities to apply for this research call although applications from other universities and institutes may also be considered.

Who should apply

-Researchers (Turing Fellows, Turing Research Fellows, Doctoral Student Supervisors and others) and other academics from our partner universities although applications from other UK-based universities may also be considered, subject to mutual acceptability of contractual terms

-The deadline for submissions is Monday 18th May 13:00 BST

-The Funder has a 15% cap on indirect costs which is flowed down as a condition of this fund

-PI time on this call can be bought out at up to a maximum of 10%

-The duration of the projects can be 9, 12, or 18 months (depending on team and scope)

-The earliest possible start date is June 2020
