[Turing-Southampton] Turing AI Fellowships | New information

Dear all

This is to let you know that the Turing have updated the FAQs document to cover the common questions coming to their inboxes, and have replaced the previous version on the website<https://emea01.safelinks.protection.outlook.com/?url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.turing.ac.uk%2Fwork-turing%2Fai-fellowships&data=01%7C01%7C%7C4fa540ff99034529368908d6a3de31ab%7C4a5378f929f44d3ebe89669d03ada9d8%7C1&sdata=x0cshBonaZ3JdFsGFO1iMqx3Dmn1YUe8oCrWckMFzmY%3D&reserved=0>. They plan to email everyone who has already begun an application on the Flexigrant system to inform them about the update and of some additional questions relating to the Flexigrant application process (confirmation that approval has been sought by the University and the candidate has been selected to submit an application).

To remind you, interested applicants must follow the following process:

1.      Please let Susan Davies (sdd1 at soton.ac.uk<mailto:sdd1 at soton.ac.uk>) know if you are wishing to apply for either Fellowship as soon as possible.
2.      Applications need to be prepared in the Flexigrant system that Turing is using, and needs an indicative costing prepared, and a letter of intent from the Head of School.
3.      Applications must NOT be submitted. Instead download from the system and send to Susan Davies by 5pm on 19th March.
4.      Internal Selection panel will meet and decide which 3 to put forward by close of play 21st March.
5.      Candidates will be notified of the outcome on 22nd March, together with any feedback.
6.      Only the 3 chosen candidates will be permitted to submit by 29th March.
