[Turing-Southampton] Building a finance and economy community with Turing and HSBC | Thursday 31 January 2019

Please see below details of a networking event that the Finance and Economic Data Science programme is organising at the British Library on Thursday 31 January bringing together senior stakeholders from HSBC (a Turing Institute strategic partner) and researchers from partner universities.

The agenda is split in two parts:

1)     Meeting the academic community: This will be an opportunity to learn about ways to engage with the programme and learn about two key programme themes (Behavioural Economics and Machine Learning in Finance)
2)     Meeting HSBC leadership team: We will re-instate the strategic partnership objectives, hear about the industry challenges within the bank, and network over wine and cheese. Afterwards there will be an opportunity for researchers to submit their ideas for potential collaboration opportunities.
