[Turing-Southampton] Opportunity to participate at Dstl run Defence and Security Conference – AI Fest 2 on the 5th June 2019 (EOI due 3 May)

Dear all

The Turing are inviting expressions of interest for participation in a Dstl run Defence and Security Conference – AI Fest 2 on the 5th June 2019 in Basingstoke (event details attached).

Dstl are looking for expressions of interest from researchers to present short talks that explore and highlight new and emerging research in these hot topic areas:


  *   J Low shot learning
  *   Quantum computing
  *   Distributed learning
  *   Data wrangling / synthetic data
  *   Adversarial learning or Transfer learning

Turing Fellows and Academics working in Turing partner universities are eligible to apply. Expressions of interest must be submitted by 3rd May noon to email address below (apologies for the short notice, but this came in when I was on a 2-week annual leave). Please include a summary of why your experience is relevant to the hot topic area (100 words max).
