Dear Colleagues, 

The School of Mathematical Sciences at the University of Southampton is happy 
to announce the opening of a new Centre for Geometry, Topology 
and Applications (CGTA). The mission of the Centre is to support and promote exciting 
new research within these areas and in their interaction with other 
fields of mathematics and science. 

We warmly invite all interested to an inaugural event which will take place in Southampton on 18-19 September. 
The meeting will feature lectures from eminent speakers covering an exciting range of modern geometry, topology and applications.
