Update

It is only 2 weeks until the Newbury Radio Rally and we are looking forward to another enjoyable and busy day.

As mentioned below, the rally has now expanded into two huge fields and we have everything planned and ready.



In addition to the usual very large (120+) sellers area, we have a demonstration marquee with displays of amateur radio stations on air, plus many clubs and national society stands

Some of the societies and national organisations already confirmed to be on display are:

  *   Royal Air Force Amateur Radio Society (RAFARS)
  *   British Amateur Television Club (BATC) with a live demonstration
  *   Royal Navy Amateur Radio Society (RNARS)
  *   Heritage Police Communications and Command Truck and Support Vehicle
  *   Radio Society of Great Britain (provisional)
  *   Newbury and District Hackspace (NADHack)
  *   Group For Earth Observation with a live demonstration
  *   RAIBIC The charity working for amateurs with disabilities
  *   Royal British Legion
  *   British Young Ladies Amateur Radio Association (BYLARA)
  *   PLUS… The Newbury Radio Rally Demonstration Marquee with different displays, activities and live demonstrations.



As always, advance bookings are coming in fast, with many sellers places now secured.

This enjoyable rally takes place on Sunday 23rd June at the Newbury Showground next to junction 13 of the M4 motorway in Berkshire

One of the many good things to report this year is that we have a new site layout for the rally. The site entrance is exactly the same, but visitor parking will now take up all of the huge field that we have always used. The rally itself will be in the adjacent field, giving us even more space and flexibility for all the sellers, clubs and demonstration stands. Please remember to access the rally by the usual entrance (same for both visitors and sellers).

Entrance for sellers is from 8am and visitors from 9am.



As one of the biggest events of its kind, it is certainly one not to be missed and is a really enjoyable day out.
