Hello all,


This is just to notify you  that we will be having a workshop session this evening. Details can be found here:

Also, this is reminder that the AGM has been scheduled to take place next week - 04/05/17. The SUWS constitution requires at least 7 days notice of an AGM . If you are unable to attend, and wish to nominate yourself for a committee position, send me an email and I'll add you, otherwise you can nominate yourself on the night of the AGM.  Nominations via email should be sent to me  before the start of the meeting next week.


Please come along even if you do not wish to stand for the committee - although the society actively encourages members to nominate themselves for committee positions. Candidates will be required to give a short speech on why they're interested/suited for the position they are standing for, then a vote will take place. Also you will be eligible to vote in the AGM if you're a student member.


I will send out an email in the next couple of days giving a more detailed breakdown of the AGM evening . If you have any questions regarding the positions, come along to the workshop this evening and feel free to speak to current committee members.
