[suws-members] JOTA: Radio Scouting activity 14th to 16th October

Hi All/

14th to 16th October is the weekend of the annual Scout Jamboree on the 
Air ans Jamboree on the Internet. For many years, I have set up both an 
Amateur Radio station and a set of IRC laptops for the weekend at the 
National Scout Rifle Championships, the big Scout shooting competition 
at Bisley near Farnborough---less than an hour's drive away. I have the 
use of a big Victorian wooden shooting lodge in which to set things up.

This year I have promised: amateur radio, JOTI (IRC over GSM), 
construction, Raspberry Pi, Arduino and, maybe, lockpicking. There are 
more than a thousand Scouts aged 14+ and I am so far on my own...

If any of you are interested (Oli, please pass on to SSAGO) in coming 
and joining in, you will be very welcome. I should be able to offer 
transport on Friday and Sunday in my Land Rover.
