[suws-members] Date for revision session for licensing exams - Weds 27th April, 3pm

Hi everyone,

I have booked room 54 / 10037 (10B) from 1500-2000 for the revision session tomorrow. I will bring along some parts to allow people to finish their intermediate practical. If you have any practical work to complete, I highly recommend you come along to the session to finish it. Tyler may be along after 6pm to assess any practical work which still needs signing off.

For everyone else, we can go through practice questions from past papers and hamtests.co.uk , as well as answer questions you may have about the exam.

Hi everyone,

The poll seems to show that the afternoon of Wednesday 27th April is the most popular day for a revision session. To allow people to get lunch, I will set the time to be 3pm. I will book a room and email the mailing list once this is confirmed. Any completed practical work can then be signed off at the club meeting the following day.

Just to add to this, we can also complete practical work during this session, so anyone who needs to complete their intermediate practical and would like a hand with this can come along too. As a reminder, the practical for intermediate is as follows:

* VFO kit construction and testing
* Soldering a coaxial cable connector (we have connectors for this)
* Wiring a UK mains plug

These can also be completed in your own time if you wish. If you need any parts or have any questions then feel free to email me or ping me on #g3kmi.
