Hi everyone,
This email is for those who are interested in taking a radio exam. Provided you're only taking one exam, then the start time will be 19:00 on Monday 7th December 2015. The application deadline is 16th November, so please email the requested forms to me before this date.
If you are taking more than one exam, you will need to start earlier, as 7pm is when the advanced exam must commence. I will discuss individual requirements as need be.
The application process is as follows. Please fill in the relevant form to you from below. This may be done in pen or electronically, preferably the latter. Please then email the form to exams at rsgb.org.uk, sending also a copy to my uni email hk1g10 at soton.ac.uk . Please do not email exams at suws.org.uk as I am currently unable to access this account.

Next, you will need to pay for your exam. The foundation is £27.50, the intermediate is £32.50 and the advanced is £37.50. Payment may be done directly to the rsgb via the following link. The centre number that you need is 10-466/B.

Alternatively, you can phone the rsgb on 01234 832717 and pay directly via this method.
If you have not already borrowed a copy, we still have a spare foundation and advanced licence textbook which you may borrow. Alternatively, you can purchase these online (links to amazon on the wiki pages below).
Regarding practicals, the current aim is to do practical training on next Thursday 29th October and on Thursday 12th November . In your reply to me, please indicate if you will not be available on either of these days so that I can plan the practical sessions. Information regarding the practical assessment, the wiki details what is required for each exam. I would also recommend that you take some practice tests on Hamtests, which are unofficial exam papers but give you an idea as to what the exam will be like.
