Hi all!

This week is the Christmas Meal, so don't turn up at Zepler as nobody
will be there!

It's at 7pm at The Crown Inn. The bad news is our table is outside this
year, but the good news is that I can confirm that they have fixed the
heater!

The QSL Card Competition will be judged at some point during the evening
(I suppose when we think we have reached the global maximum of the
number of people against time). I have printed off the cards to actual
size to show them off. Unfortunately there seems to have been a minor
complication; when I printed them, I noticed they're pretty big (bigger
than most cards we've received), so I checked on the RSGB website and
they want people to send them cards significantly smaller than (and in a
different aspect ratio to) the sizes specified in the competition
(140mm×89mm vs 144mm×101mm). So, the winning design will likely need
tweaking to fit to this new size, but I feel we should run the
competition anyway.
