[suws-g3kmi] Southampton Beer Festival

Hi All,

 

Instead of our usual meeting and trip to the Crown, we will be going to the
Southampton Beer Festival at the Guild Hall in the city centre:

This year they are not selling any Thursday night tickets, so as the event
opens at 6:30pm, ideally you need to arrive by then or probably no later
than 7pm to guarantee entry.  We usually all make our own way down there but
commonly there is a group of us that walk down from Highfield campus from
outside the south entrance of building 32 at around 5:45pm.

 

I will be cancelling our regular table at the Crown, so if there is a group
of people not planning to come to the Beer Festival and go to the Crown
instead, then you need to tell me so I don't cancel the table, as I suspect
the Crown will be quite busy with people who have just finished exams.
