The workshop is now less that a week away, for the various building projects happening we will need some components which will need to be ordered soon if we want them for saturday.

If anyone wants components to build things can you reply to this email so we know how many bits to get.

Power Boxes

For the power-pole connectors I will be placing an order with torberry connectors http://www.torberry.co.uk/ this order will need to go in very soon (probably on tudesay so if anyone wants anything from there (they stock the powerpole accessories and powerpoles of other variants than 30A ) let me know and I can add it to the order and split delivery)

The club order for the battery boxes from torberry will probably be

We will also need to order some blade fuse holders, banana sockets and large gauge wire probably from RS components (I will try source and send out a list of bits later).

At the outing yesterday it was suggested to use an undivided toolbox as the battery box, any ideas or comments on this, or sources of them at a good price?

Dummy loads, 

Paint cans, i believe ebay was sugested for those does anyone have any links for these
Resistors, These can probably be ordered from RS
Connectors, we can probably get these from either Maplin or RS

Yagis,

Tape measures pvc pipe and other hardware, these can probably be got from B&Q.
Coiax and conectors, we can order those in from rs or maplin.

I beleve all of these are complete now.


Ordering Timeframe

Torberry: as soon as possible
RS: as late as thursday but preferably wednesday
B&Q i believe they are open on saturday so we could go down on the day if required
Maplin: again open on the day if required
Ebay: ?


If anyone as anything else they want to try and build, say so so we can try and get the bits in.
