[suws-g3kmi] 80m Club Contest Thursday Evening

Hi All,

There's another 80m Club SSB Contest this week, tomorrow 8pm-9:30pm. So we're planning to have an operating evening instead of the G3KMI meeting.

After the S9+10db noise floor next to the Maths tower last time, we're going to try a more traditional approach, driving out about 20 minutes towards the New Forest and setting up a dipole over a couple of tree branches with the new Club rig.

6-6:15pm - Meet up in Zepler car park
6:30pm - Drive out towards New Forest (~20 minutes), grab something to eat from Totton on the way
8:00pm - Contest starts
9:30pm - Contest ends, pack up and head back.
