tl;dr version : An eloquent Iranian blogger who was jailed in Tehran for
speaking out online came out of 5 years of incarceration to discover that
the Web has changed profoundly - everything has become centralised around
'streams' -- facebook / twitter feeds -- controlled by huge monolithic
agencies.  The web is no longer a place for discovering and seeking diverse
perspectives but instead of being spponfed by algorithms entirely opaque to
individuals'
