Hi Dan, all

Nigel and I have just taken the decision to postpone the Town Meeting on 27 November, but to instead use that day to have a first unveiling of the Situation Room Visualisations, so please keep that day free in your diaries. I'll be sending an email to the whole project informing them of this and, hopefully, we can link people in from other sites for the unveiling.

I will be looking for an alternative date in the New Year for the Town Meeting.

Many thanks

Susan

Subject: [Sociam-soton] Sociam Situation Room (Visualisations) Finalisation Days

Hi,

The SOCIAM Town Hall Meeting / WebWeWant working group have determined today that in order to keep the Edinburgh visit on 17-19 November locked down to INDX/LSC work, we should instead hold the SOCIAM Situation Room/dashboard hacking finalisation days in Southampton on the 13-14 November. These are the visualisations that were started at the All-Hands earlier this month in Edinburgh. These two days should enable us to finalise, polish and test the visualisations for the Town Hall meeting on the 27th November and for the WebWeWant days on 28-30th November.

I will get rooms and refreshments booked and follow up when these are confirmed.

If anyone involved in these visualisations is not available, please reply. It is not expected that anyone outside of Southampton is required to attend physically, but forward this invitation if you think it will be useful for your visualisation to work remotely with your collaborators on the days.

Best,
Daniel
