Yup! Became aware of this a few days ago thanks to Dan.

I know Deb informally, but not very well. He's a slightly unusual
choice because his background is robotics, not social science nor data
mining.  One of the things he's known for foremost is the Human
Speechome project in which he got his graduate students to instrument
his whole house with microphones to capture the utterances of his new
kid.  Apparently he released the entire dataset to the public. Not
sure if anything fantastic has come out of it though.

I'd say let's see what we can to continue to out-pagerank him on the
term 'Social Machines' ;)

Anyway, GO TEAM! Good to know we were doing Social Machines before it
was cool ;)
