[Sociam-soton] Davide Ceolin

Hi,

 

For those who remember Davide Ceolin, PhD student from VU Amsterdam who
joined us for a few months recently, I'm pleased to report that he received
his PhD yesterday in a ceremony in Amsterdam. Luc and I were the "opponents"
(external examiners) who gave him a public grilling, at which he defended
his work manfully.

 

His work at Southampton made up a chapter of his thesis, so SOCIAM got a
namecheck.

 

Congratulations to him, and his supervisor Guus Schreiber,
