I am about to go on annual leave until 1 October :)

Please see below a change of plan for meetings for the next couple of weeks:

Monday 16 September

This meeting will now start at the earlier time of 4.30-5.30pm (sorry to mess you around) in the Board Room 4073.  The agenda is below:


1.      Round the table update on work in progress

2.      Paper writing update

3.      Timings for Boston Workshop

4.      Skype Call on Tuesday 24 September*

It is Edinburgh's turn to present and I know that Dave Murray-Rust will be in Southampton that day.  Please could you decide if it would make sense for Dave M-R/Soton to do a joint presentation and then ask Nichola to send an email to the SOCIAM-all email list about this?  Thanks.  Please note the later start time of 2.30pm with an hour's slot for this.

Monday 30 September - POSTPONED to Friday 4 October

There will be NO meeting on Monday 30 September.

We would like to have a presentation from our Summer Interns on Friday 4 October from 12.00-2.00pm and have a farewell buffet lunch and drinks.  Please put this date in your diaries and let me/Nichola know if this date would be a problem for you.

Nichola - please book a room for this and also a placeholder with Court House Catering for a lunch for approximately 15 people.  Thanks.

Just to confirm there is no local meeting today.  Our next one is scheduled for next Monday, 16 September at 3.30pm.  However, this is just when the WAIS Fest will be wrapping up, so could I ask that you hold from 5.00-6.00pm for this meeting instead please?  Let me know if this would be a problem for any of you.  I'll send an agenda later in the week.
