[Sociam-soton] ITA Collective Sensemaking work

Dear SOCIAM folks,

Nigel has invited me to provide an overview of some of the ITA work I have been involved in, particularly that relating to the development of a simulation capability for collective sensemaking. I am hoping to provide this overview at Monday's SOCIAM meeting. I have attached a recent paper that summarizes some of the main features of the simulation capability. Darren will also provide an overview of some of the follow-on work proposed for the ITA. This focuses on the use of dual-process cognitive models to simulate aspects of collective cognition.
