Hi Daniel,

Thanks for your input.

Yes, I am aware that the user doesn't know what has been
read/understood by the validator.
Can you try the translator and check whether your ttl file
translates correctly to another prov
representation or svg?

What do you mean about the prov-link parsing error. What do you get?
Dear PROV validator team.
I have been doing a couple of tests on the tool and here are my
comments:

I like the interface. It is simple and easy to use.

I have tried to upload a ttl file that has some correct
provenance assertions. But I don't quite understand
the response I'm obtaining. I get all the boxes in green with
the ticks as if they were right. Despite the fact of being
able to
click on them, nothing happens. I would like to know what a
tick on the "Malformed Expressions" mean, or
what does it mean to have a tick in the "Misleading qualified
names" (none are being used). Is it good or bad?

I get the same response from submitting a complete .ttl file
and an empty file. Is the service on? (It also happens with
a file without prov statements)

When I click on the PROV link in the response I get a
parsing error:
http://provenance.ecs.soton.ac.uk:7000/prov-vservice-0.1.0/validation/graph2964166829492130347/validation#display-provenance-tab

Suggestions:

An explanation as in http://oeg-lia3.dia.fi.upm.es/oops/
would be useful: they say a small definition of what they have
checked
and the elements where it's failing. I would recommend that to
clarify what is being analyzed.

The report should be expanded on demand, IMO. It also
contains information that I cannot navigate, or fthat I can't
uderstand, like:
vsi:e/b06c5824-7273-4c8f-85a5-23950bed205b

Best,
