In preparation for the Fourth Provenance Challenge, we are trying to
develop and review scenarios to be used in the challenge. After a call
for submissions, we have received the following 11 scenarios.<br>

1. Modeling objects at multiple granularities<br>
2. Wikipedia Revision History<br>
3. Paper Submission<br>
4. Reconstructing from Foreign Provenance<br>
5. Federated Market Transaction Audit Trails<br>
6. Trust and Privacy Management in Cloud Platforms<br>
7. Understanding the Scientist’s Intent associated with a Workflow
Experiment<br>
8. Provenance Support for Evidence Based Policy<br>
9. Provenance of Published Crystal Images<br>
10. Producing Fishery Country Profiles<br>
11. Composing a scientific experiment with several different workflows<br>

I wanted to thank all the authors for taking the time to submit
scenarios. They are extremely interesting. Moving on, we need to
converge towards one (or combination of these scenarios).<br>

We only have two weeks to converge. I ask that everyone who wants to
take part start reading the scenarios. If you have questions, comments,
or endorsements please send those to the provenance challenge list. <br>
<br>
I will setup a "straw poll" next week to get a feel for where the
community is at and then we can discuss how to proceed. <br>
