[provenance-challenge] too late for a quick proposal?

Hi,

After doing my voting on the various proposals, it seemed that one of
the issues that came up was "what is a profile" and what does "endorsing
a profile mean"?

I wanted to suggest the following clarification proposal.

Here it is anyway,

1. A profile is a specialization or extension of core OPM.
2. Any additional syntax that a profile introduces must be able to be
translated to core OPM.
3. Endorsement of a profile means wide acceptance by the community as
shown by multiple users/implementations and a community vote.

I don't know if this is too late and should wait until the next round.
But at least it's out there now...

Thanks,
Paul
