Hi Everyone,

We are in the final couple of weeks of the provenance challenge. A
number of teams have completed the challenge and I've been in touch
with several others who are just wrapping up. Thanks for all your hard
work.

Below you'll find a schedule for the workshop. Each team has a 20
minute slot, so a 15min presentation with a 5min Q&A. We will be
presenting the challenge workflow and queries at the beginning of the
day so you won't need to repeat that information, you can focus
entirely on your team's entry. Also, note I've tried to put teams that
share technologies together.

The second day has been left for discussion about the OPM and future
directions for the community. Obviously, issues for discussion will
come up at the workshop. But we would like to get a good preliminary
list now. The organizers have come up with the following:

- collections
- differences between XML and RDF serializations
- overloaded use of the value field
- what is the best way to extend opm?
- inferences and issues raised in the 'Foundations of OPM' paper by
Moreau, L., Kwasnikowska, N. and Van den Bussche, J.
eprints.ecs.soton.ac.uk/17282
- process to revise OPM and agree on changes
- what next? (special issue? opm 1.1? pc4)

Please send your suggestions to the list.

If you have any questions or comments, please contact me.

Thanks,
Paul
