Hi All,

Based on feedback and some of the discussions on the PC3 meeting at eScience 2008, we have added a supplementary Plotting workflow to the challenge that queries the loaded database, plots a graph using it and displays it to the user interactively. This addition is documented at: http://twiki.ipaw.info/bin/view/Challenge/ThirdPCWorkflow. There is no separate code provided for these and teams are free to implement these using SQL queries and a plotting program like GNUPlot.

A few provenance queries that tie provenance from the plotted image to the source CSV files and loaded tables have been added to the callenge queries page: http://twiki.ipaw.info/bin/view/Challenge/ProvenanceQuestionsPc3
You are welcome to add other queries that make use of the supplementary workflow.
Teams are encouraged to implement these extensions since it poses some interesting queries over provenance that we may not have encountered.

Best,
--Yogesh
