Can't remember if we have already noted this. Might be some PATINA relevance:

Psychology academic awarded funding for social networking behaviour studies
Congratulations to Professor Lucy Yardley in Psychology who has been awarded a £1.5m EPSRC research grant for her UBhave (ubiquitous and social computing for positive behaviour change) project. Lucy will use the funding to investigate the power and challenges of using mobile phones and social networking for digital behaviour change interventions (DBCIs).
DBCIs are interactive, automated packages of advice and support, which are used to influence a range of behaviours such as to increase productivity in the workplace or enhance learning activities. They typically include personalised advice as well as support for goal-setting, planning and progress monitoring.
Lucy aims to devise and disseminate behaviour change tools and methods that can be employed by both the interdisciplinary research community and the public and private sector for a very wide variety of behavioural applications.
