Edd Sowden made this tool for converting Banner timetables to iCalendar format when we was at ECS: http://me.e26.co.uk/tics/

It works well for student timetables from Banner — AFAIK it's never been tested with a staff member’s timetable.

My wishlist, depending on many variables (well mostly transition-related) is that you should be able to generate a username/password pair to give to google calendar or ical etc. which allows you to get live access to your personal data such as timetables, and for students, handin information and module enrollment.
I am fed up of crawling my way through banner to find the timetables, and then having to swoop through million-entry menus of courses.
So I have made a little applescript application that gets the grid timetable up in my browser. If anyone wants a copy they are welcome.
If you can get it to export iCal that I can import into my calendar, I'll
buy you a drink!
