[OSX-Users] apple mail replacements?

Have any of you explored alternatives to apple Mail?

have been trying both Airmail and Postbox, 
and while some of their more modern features are great - like sending an email to another service like omniFocus for later actioning. or snoozing mail.

still keep going back to Mail for solid basic mail functionality - even things like activity/connection doctor

thoughts? experiences? decisions?
