[OSX-Users] vm-ware and office on windows and windows 10 query - naive i know

Hi All,
a naive question:

have tried to use our supplier to download 64 bit latest office onto windows in vmware by logging into our site within windows in vmware 
it says it won’t download the installer. even tho current version is 64bit office.

Any suggestions of how to get the new office installed?

and also, i’m being poked to upgrade from window 8 to 10 
is there a best practice way to do that?
