[OSX-Users] Problem with Times New Roman

I have had a problem with Word since a recent upgrade, in which the Font Times New Roman was being displayed as a sans serif font, apparently substitued by Calibri. As you can imagine it made everuything look appalling, and this happened on all documents, even historic documents prepared on other peoples’ computers.

It turns out that the upgrade has (inadvertently?) disabled a number of fonts (including Arial and Verdana) in the Mac system, but by re-enabling them in OS X Font Book, everything is fixed.
