[OSX-Users] Excel again

Is it just me, or is the Excel UI (v.15.18) horribly horribly buggy. I see the following symptoms:

(a) cells contents disappear, and only reappear after multiple repeated attempts at selecting/double-clicking their cells
(b) it becomes impossible to select ranges of cells, or the selection perimeter (solid, dark) is replaced by the copy perimeter (dashed, animated).
(c) parts of the sheet just disappear for a while.
