I’ve got one and almost never use it.

Was planning to use it to playback stuff from my iPad / iPhone via apps (e.g. iPlayer app) but found not enough supported it, or not well enough, so I ended up getting a mac mini for the TV anyway.

We have one at work plugged into a huge flatscreen that we use for mirroring laptops when presenting, and it’s great for that.

If the AppleTV had apps it would be more useful at home.

There’s rumours of new hardware being released soon.
