I’m pretty sure LibreOffice is just the maintained fork of OpenOffice (which hasn’t seen work in a while).
I’d say go with what you’re happy with unless worried that either OS X or some software that depends on it that you do update is going to start requiring LibreOffice.
There may be pros to making the change anyway, but I’m not aware of any ones that standout.
