[OSX-Users] Disabling auto fetching email

Hi,

I’m trying to fetch my ECS imap email only when I click ‘get mail’.

Bless Mac Mail - even if you set it to only fetch email manually in the general options it still sucks it in, and even disabling the use of IDLE and saying "don't include this account when automatically fetching email" in the per-account advanced settings doesn't stop the email flooding in. And I quit/restart Mail. And took all accounts offline then online. Bah. One for serviceline... meh.

Ideas for what to try next?

I could just go offline/online I guess, but clunky.
