Les Carr created a tiny print plug-in in Automator that sends a PDF file 
to the Managed Print Queue, bypassing most of the printer driver. That 
fixed it for him. Whether it will print things other than PDF to it, I 
don't know.

Personally my Managed Print driver works, so I'm not quite sure what is 
wrong. I'll try to recreate the fault if I can to do some digging for you.
