Gorgeous screens, by all accounts, and There's a TB gig ethernet adaptor out now. Allegedly there's FW800 coming but it's not on sale at the moment.

That said, the update to enable the TB ethernet adaptor (Thunderbolt 1.2) is apparently causing a lot of crashiness and boot problems, so it may be wise to hold off on that one until the's a revised version. Which should be soon, hopefully.

Interesting little nugget: these things are big versions of the Air. The RAM is soldered to the logic board, the battery is glued in and the bottom is held on with proprietary pentalobe screws (though you can get the correct screwdrivers online). The only upgrade possible is the SSD, since it takes mini-PCIe SSD boards which are readily available.
