Does anyone know how Mail stores the properties of email messages on the disk? I'd like to find out whether a particular mail has been read or not, and I don't think that's in the .emlx Library files. I suppose the right way to find such app-specific info is to enquire of it through the proper API (ie AppleScript) but on a really big Inbox, evaluating the expression 'every message of mailbox "Inbox" of account "Soton Exchange" whose read status is false' just times out.
