Hi mc,

Yes, there is a site licence.  It seems that the procedure has changed since I downloaded it and installed it though.  Full details are available in a PDF download from software.soton.ac.uk:

The PDF doesn't specifically mention Mac OS, but seems to be platform independent.

Note: it seems that just by downloading that PDF, you will be added to the sw-distrib-matlab mailing list.
