[OSX-Users] Caveat of L-style MagSafe on laptop designed for T-style

I don't know if anyone else on the list would be seen dead with Apple 
kit this old, but just as a heads-up, if you have a 
2006/2007/came-with-OS-X-10.4-era MacBook Pro that took "T-style" 
MagSafe then, yes, the newer "L-style" Air-style MagSafes (NOT the 
newer-newer ones) that the Apple Store will sell you /do/ correctly fit 
the socket and will work...but due to the cable now running parallel 
down the side of the Mac, the cable passes right over your left USB, 
microphone and headphone sockets. You can just about get away with the 
headphone one without too much of a painful kink, but if you use an 
external microphone or the adjacent USB port, you will have to plug the 
power adapter in pointing away from you (unfortunately I can't route the 
cable this way myself).
