[OSX-Users] 10.8.1 is out --- Exchange/Mail improvements

Folks,

The first update to Mountain Lion, 10.8.1, has been released. Just get 
it from "Software Update" in the Apple menu.

If you haven't yet upgraded to Mountain Lion and would now like to, you 
will find it in the software archive at
     cifs://software.ecs.soton.ac.uk/software
in the images/apple/Mountain Lion directory. Just drag the app to your 
/Applications and run it.

One particular area of interest to many of you will be that one of their 
"areas of focus" for this update is Mail's handling of Exchange 
accounts, and they claim they have fixed many problems in this area.

If you use HP printers, beware of the latest HP printer update, it may 
well still be the one that will break your printing. If you use an HP 
printer and find that printing (even just to PDF, let alone to paper) 
crashes your applications, then just delete the whole of the the 
directory with "HP" in its name from the directory
     /Library/Printers/hp/PDEs
and then you will find printing works again. You do not need to reboot 
or anything.
