I run a simple GTD system with Things (adding TODOs through Mail-ActOn and some Applescript tomfoolery that inserts a summary and a link to the original email). 

I find it makes a big difference to my sense of panic about workload - although I do wonder whether the stuff to do simply expands to fill your capacity to manage it :-(

(I dont tend to use contexts for my GTD strategy, as it turns out there is only one context that makes any real sense, but one-touching emails, defining a couple of Areas, and prioritising for Today makes a big difference to me)
